Aercap belongs to the top five of worldwide leading Lessors with a global presence and with the headquarters in The Netherlands. Aercap is an integrated global aviation company with a leading market position in aircraft and engine leasing, trading and parts sales. The Aercap portfolio consists of well over 300 aircraft and 69 engines that are either owned, on order or managed. Shares of Aercap are traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

APG has a long standing relationship with AerCap. APG has a contractual obligation to perform all mid-term inspections on 230 aircraft either owned or managed by Aercap. On an annual basis this involves on or about 80 mid-term inspections. In addition APG supplies Aercap with pre-redelivery inspections and delivery and/or redelivery support. On an ad-hoc basis APG performs pre-purchase inspections and maintenance exposure analysis for any aircraft or engine Aercap has an interest to acquire. Next to many mid-term and pre-redelivery inspections APG performed during 2007 also an independent maintenance exposure analysis on 91 aircraft on lease to various airlines around the globe.
