iZair is an airline based in Izmir, Turkey. The Airline operates both a scheduled and charter service, serving Turkey and international destinations. With a fleet of 3 Airbus A319-100s in a 144 seat configuration, the Airline serves 14 destinations. iZair have named their three Aircraft; Alsancak, Karsiyaka and Goztepe. Alsancak is the name of Izmir’s most central and beautiful neighbourhood. Karsiyaka and Goztepe are smaller neighbourhoods that are cherished by the people of Izmir.
Since March 2007, iZair has entered into a partnership with Pegasus. Pegasus now owns 20% of the Airline’s shares.
APG has, over a number of years, assisted iZair in locating, assessing and leasing of a number of aircraft, including carrying out Pre-Lease Inspections on 8 Airbus A319s. APG’s team was also instrumental in the granting of Part 145 approval to the airline.
