Richard P. Scheff

Vice President

Richard P. Scheff is a Vice President with the Seabury APG. He has 17 years of experience within the aviation sector, and has developed expertise both in operations research and network planning.

Since joining Seabury APG, Mr. Scheff has worked primarily on fleet assignment issues. Most recently, he has led major fleet assignment projects for carriers worldwide. Mr. Scheff has also been integrally involved in strategic analysis for an aircraft manufacturer.

Prior to joining Seabury APG, Mr. Scheff co-founded Idmon, a software company specializing in software systems for airline network and fleet assignment analysis. In addition to overseeing the design of the software systems, Mr. Scheff headed a team of airline specialists tasked with supporting the sales effort.

Previously, Mr. Scheff was responsible for route development at Delta Air Lines where he held key management positions across the spectrum of network strategy and analysis. Mr. Scheff's last position was System Manager, Network Planning. While at Delta, he led the implementation of the fleet assignment model and was named as a finalist for the Edelman prize for outstanding use of operations research in business.

Mr. Scheff holds a M.S. and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
