Michael Mankowski has over 13 years of consulting and management experience within the air transport industry. He has primarily engaged, consulted  or managed in the Revenue Management space at major airlines across the globe.

As a member of Seabury APG, Mr. Mankowski is responsible for the management of the Revenue Management practice within the organization. He has developed standardized industry best practices spanning Pricing, Inventory and Support functions of the Revenue Management discipline applicable at the tactical or strategic levels.

Prior to joining Seabury APG, Mr. Mankowski was Principal Consultant  at Sabre Airline Solutions. During his career at Sabre, Mr. Mankowski was involved in managing high visibility Revenue Management turnaround consulting projects at large network carriers covering all aspects of tactical and strategic Revenue Management activities, mentoring Revenue Management executives at global airlines on industry best practices, responding to Requests for Proposal (RFP) for Revenue Management Systems (RMS), assisting in Revenue Management product pursuits as a subject matter expert in Revenue Management business processes and developing network inventory class valuation models for optimal revenue output resulting in aligned inventory and pricing functions.

Prior to joining Sabre Airline Solutions, Mr. Mankowski  was manager of the Transcon/East Coast/US Airways Code Share Revenue Management team at United Airlines, responsible for optimization of over US$2 Billion in annual revenue, strategic positioning of the pricing and inventory allocations for United’s new Premium Service (p.s.) Transcon service, and code-share alignment with Star Alliance partner, US Airways.   Other position held by Mr. Mankowski at United Airlines included manager of Ted Revenue Management team,  where he was responsible for managing US$1.1 Billion of revenue optimization which included development of a low fare structure and new inventory optimization techniques for a low fare product offering.  Prior to management roles, Mr. Mankowski  led pricing efforts where he developed, designed and implemented pricing strategies ranging from new restriction free fare offerings to fare structures designed to compete against growing low cost carrier presence at Chicago’s Midway airport.

Mr. Mankowski holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
