Airline Industry Executive Jeff Mackinney joins Seabury Airline Planning Group

NEW YORK - August 6, 2008 – Seabury today announced that Jeffrey L. MacKinney, former President of World Air Holdings, Inc., has joined the firm as Executive Director of Seabury Airline Planning Group LLC (“Seabury APG”), which is an integral part of Seabury Aviation & Aerospace LLC’s global aviation practice. Mr. MacKinney brings nearly 30 years of airline management experience to Seabury.

In his most recent role with the parent company of World Airways and North American Airlines, Mr. MacKinney was responsible for worldwide operations of both airline subsidiaries, as well as corporate-wide marketing and planning. Following a period of significant growth and record profits, the company was acquired in 2007 in a transaction valued at more than five times the market cap just four years earlier.

Mr. MacKinney joined World Airways in 2003 and during his tenure also served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Planning and Corporate Development. He also has held senior positions with several other airlines, including President and CEO of TransMeridian Airlines, and Senior Vice President – Marketing and Planning for AirTran Airways. He served in various leadership positions during nine years at American Airlines, with his last assignment as Managing Vice President of AMR Consulting Group.

Mr. MacKinney holds a B.S. degree in industrial management from Purdue University and earned an MBA from the University of Dallas. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Air Carrier Association and also served on the Military Airlift Committee of the National Defense Transportation Association.
